Therapy Pricing

  • Services are private pay (self-pay) only, and all major debit and credit cards as well as FSA and HSA cards are accepted.  Parents/guardians will be provided with Superbills each month (detailed medical receipts of services).  Families then have the option to submit the Superbills to insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Evaluations are billed as a flat fee of $250.  Typically, an evaluation takes a minimum of 45 minutes up to 90 minutes to complete with a client, depending on the area(s) of concern. The fee also includes a comprehensive and individualized report with recommendations and a treatment plan should a client need services.

  • Treatment sessions are billed by units of time.  One unit = 15 minutes and the cost per unit is $25.  So, for example, the cost of a 30-minute therapy session is $50, a 45-minute session is $75, and a 60-minute session is $100.

Why are services private pay only?

After working in various settings over the years and being bound by stringent insurance guidelines, self- pay speech therapy is beneficial in several ways.

  • It allows the flexibility to begin services right away with a client, instead of waiting for insurance authorization.

  • Services are based solely upon the client's need, evaluation results, and my professional judgment; there are no issues with strict insurance rules and qualifying criteria in order for a child to receive speech therapy.

  • Clients are not limited by a set number of "approved" sessions determined by an outside organization.
